A North America exclusive.

Producer, “Winter Soul”, at the BAM Opera House. January 27, 2006 was a hip-hop and spoken word evening with Arrested Development, M1, and the 2005 US champion teen poets from Urban Word. January 28, 2006 featured Morris Day and The Time with guest Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. January 7, 2005 featured George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars and TV On The Radio. January 24, 2004 featured Sam Moore and Raul Midon, and the series premier on January 18, 2003 featured Bobby “Blue” Bland and Cody ChesnuTT.

Producer, “The Next Wave of Song”, at the BAM Opera House on October 25, 2001 featuring Meshell N’Degeocello, Beth Orton, and Rufus Wainwright, and on October 11 and 12, 2002 featuring Ben Folds, Stephin Merritt, and Marc Anthony Thompson. The series showcased contemporary edgy pop singer-songwriters, each performing stripped-down sets of their own music.

Kofi Annan, and US Congressman John Lewis, plus live gospel music performances. Artists have included The Boys Choir Of Harlem, Raul Midon, The Persuasions, Dr. John, the Institutional Radio Choir, Donnie McClurkin, the McCollough Sons of Thunder, Hezekiah Walker, the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Raymond Myles, Nancey Jackson, Lillias White, and Lizz Wright.

Producer, “Local Frequencies”, featuring three New York City artists - choreographer Gabri Christa, singer-songwriter Toshi Reagon, and Jamaican poet-songwriter Everton Sylvester - each contributing original 15-minute music, voice and sound collages about their respective home neighborhoods. A cd was pressed and distributed free to locations around the artists’ neighborhoods. It was broadcast in Spring, 2003 on New York radio station WFUV.

Producer, Music in the Anchorage: “Bridge Noir” (Tales of Mystery and the Macabre), July 19, 2000 - original music performed by Vernon Reid and friends on guitars and electronic instruments, accompanied by with live readings by authors Paul Auster, Luc Sante, and Rafi Zabor... also Music in the Anchorage: “Gospel Under the Bridge”, July 23, 2000 - featuring the McCollough Sons of Thunder and the SRC All-City Gospel Chorale. (The Anchorage is the cavernous space within the base of the Brooklyn end of the Brooklyn Bridge, since closed for security reasons).

Producer, live music concerts and events promoting culture, travel and tourism. “The Sounds of South Africa”, on November 16, 2006, featured Hugh Masekela and Abdullah Ibrahim, hosted by Harry Belafonte, at New York City Center. A series of events for the India Ministry of Tourism has taken place throughout the United States in 2007, including Anoushka Shankar at the new Carnival Center for the Arts in Miami; Badal Roy at the Asian Arts Museum in San Francisco, at the Walter Reade Theater in New York, and at the Rialto Theater in Atlanta; Vijay Iyer at the Chicago Cultural Center; and Zakir Hussein at the Sanders Theater at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA.
